Testimonials of Trust and Connections

KD Community was born out of a distinct need observed in the support industry. We listened to our clients' concerns about larger organizations, where an abundance of support workers often led to a lack of continuity and connection. In just four weeks, one of our clients experienced a staggering turnover of 8 different support workers within a different agency.

What sets KD Community apart is our boutique approach. We believe in the profound importance of fostering enduring relationships and building trust between our disability support workers and our clients. We pride ourselves on being able to send the same dedicated support workers consistently, ensuring a level of reliability and familiarity that our clients truly appreciate.

The strength of these connections prompted some of our clients to openly share their exceptional experiences with the dedicated team at KD Community. Their stories serve as a testament to the difference our personalized and consistent approach can make in the lives of those we serve.

Support Worker Jack assisting paticipant

When Kent first had a carer, we went through a larger company, and unfortunately, they could never give us the same carer all the time. And what we found was, first of all, there was no connection. Second of all, each carer didn't know what Kent's needs were, what made him tick, what was important to him in terms of taking him to the gym. As soon as we brought Jack from KD Community in, it has changed enormously. They have a beautiful bond and a mutual respect for each other.

They're very good with helping out. Anything I need, all I've got to do is ring them and the boys will do the best they can to help me out in any situation. They'll take me shopping; they'll even take me to the pub if that’s what I feel like. They take me to appointments or me doctors, physio. Wherever I need to go, the boys are there for me at the drop of a hat.

CEO Brandon and Paticipant Bailey

I think the biggest difference is that Bailey has choice and control over what he's going to do and that you guys support him and whatever he wants to do. It's all about him. It's not about the carer. And some companies I know, the carers come in, but they really don't want to be here. You can see that you really want to make a difference and change people's lives, which is since very personalised.

From what I've seen from you guys, I feel extremely comfortable around you, Isaac already feels like part of the family.

The male companies tend to get down to the nitty gritty of things, they find what's wrong and fix it.
